Originally a ramshackle metal building in the heart of downtown Abilene, oakstreet shoppe was completely reimagined to feel as though it had stood on the corner since the city's founding in the late 1800s. Every architectural decision was guided by a desire to create authenticity, resulting in a space that feels rooted in history while celebrating the joy of thoughtful design.

Inside, hardwood floors, richly layered color, playful combinations of fabrics and wallpaper, and carefully curated furnishings create an environment that is both timeless and unexpected. Every room was designed to inspire, inviting visitors to slow down, explore, and discover beautiful details around every corner.

More than a retail space, oakstreet shoppe embodies our design philosophy that timeless interiors should be warm, imaginative, and deeply personal. It serves as both our showroom and creative studio, expressing the layered, collected aesthetic that defines Rebecca Gibbs Design.
