Rebecca Gibbs is the Principal Designer and founder of Rebecca Gibbs Design. Since establishing her studio in 2012, she has approached each project with a deep respect for architecture, history, and the way a home shapes daily life. Her work is rooted in the belief that enduring interiors are not defined by a particular style, but by thoughtful choices and spaces that feel collected, personal, and deeply connected to the people who live in them.

 

With a love for historic architecture and design, Rebecca brings a studied yet approachable perspective to both new construction and renovation. Her interiors draw inspiration from art, nature, craftsmanship, and the individuality of her clients, resulting in homes that feel layered, distinctive, and meant to evolve over time.

 

Rebecca's work has been featured in Domino, Real Simple, Better Homes & Gardens, and Traditional Home, where she was recognized as a Rising Star in 2022. In 2026, her storefront, oakstreet shoppe, was named one of House Beautiful's Best Home Stores in America.

 

In addition to leading Rebecca Gibbs Design, Rebecca teaches Architectural History as an adjunct at her alma mater, a natural extension of her longtime interest in architecture, interiors, and the decorative arts. Away from the studio, she finds inspiration traveling with her husband, Lucas, and in the lively rhythms of family life with their four growing boys, experiences that continually reinforce her belief that the most beautiful homes are the ones designed to be truly lived in.

Rebecca is a Registered Interior Designer with the Texas Board of Architectural Examiners, NCIDQ certified, and an active member of the Institute of Classical Architecture & Art.
